CERN's Summer Student Programme
(for Non Member State Nationals)
Under agreement with CERN, every year we will send up to 2 students to participate in the CERN's Summer Student Programme (High Energy Physics) in Geneva, Switzerland and get involved with some of the world's biggest experiment. For details about the application and selection procedures, please contact Prof. Tao Liu ( taoliu@ust.hk )
While you apply for the CERN summer program at our department (through Prof. Tao Liu), you are still required to complete the CERN on-line application for Non Member State Nationals (http://jobs.web.cern.ch/join-us/studentships-summer-non-member-state-nationals) before the deadline 27-JAN-2016, 23:59 (CET) or 28-Jan-2016 06:59 (HK time).
Note: After completing the on line application at the CERN website (for Non Member State Nationals), please contact and inform Prof. Tao Liu ( taoliu@ust.hk ) and SEND ONE COPY OF YOUR APPLICATION TO HIM (transcript, CV and one short statement to explain why you are interested in this programme (half - one page)). The selection procedures will be carried on by the Department of Physics, HKUST in early February.
