Degang WU

Degang Wu is a second-year Physics student coming from Guangzhou. He became interested in Physics since junior high school. After he entered HKUST, he worked with Prof. Kwok Yip Szeto first on genetic algorithms, and then on the present project on evolutionary games on networks. He contributed to the field by realizing that the commonly assumed imitation mechanism is unrealistic. Using the more realistic partial imitation rule, many commonly-believed conclusions have to be re-examined. Two conference papers based on his work were accepted recently.
