Besides the academic achievement he proved for himself through the Physics Olympiad and his high grades, Lok Man demonstrated an unusual aptitude for independent studies. He took an initiative in pursuing the understanding of common physical phenomena, made keen observations on physical phenomena, and was able to formulate an analysis on them.
